What we collect

Photos you upload to create designs, the notes you type about your puzzle, and the designs we generate from them.

Your email address, and for orders, your name, shipping address and order details. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.

Analytics about how you use the site, such as pages visited and buttons clicked, and technical information such as your browser type.

How we use it

We use your photos and notes only to create your designs and to produce your order. We use your email to send your designs, reservation and order messages. We use analytics to understand and improve the site and to measure our advertising.

Your photos are not used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. Your designs are private – we never share them.

How long we keep it

Uploads and previews are deleted after 7 days if you do not order or reserve.

Files for an order are deleted 30 days after delivery.

Order records such as payments and shipping details are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Reservations

If you reserve a design before ordering opens, we keep the chosen design and the photos needed to print it until you pay, or 45 days after the reservation, whichever comes first. After that, they are deleted.

Reserving a design costs nothing and creates no obligation. You can ask us to delete your reservation at any time.

Photos of children

Photos may include children only when they are uploaded by an adult who has permission to share them. The same deletion rules apply to every photo. We do not store face data.

Service providers

We use these providers to run the store, and they process data on our behalf:

Google (Firebase for storage and sign-in). AI image-generation and upscaling providers (Google Gemini and fal) that process your photos only to create your designs. Stripe for payments. Resend for sending email. Amplitude for product analytics. Meta for advertising and measurement. OpenAI for checking uploaded photos and generated images against our content rules (moderation), and for advertising measurement. Vercel for hosting. Sentry for error monitoring.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your privacy choices

You can ask us to delete your photos, designs, reservation or other personal information at any time by emailing hello@ourstorypuzzle.com from the address you used with us. We will confirm once it is done.

You can also ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. You can opt out of marketing emails with the link in any email, and you can limit advertising and analytics cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of advertising and analytics tracking, email hello@ourstorypuzzle.com and we will act on your request.

Where we operate

Our service is for customers in the United States, and we ship only to US addresses. We do not knowingly offer the service in other countries.
